Privacy policy

This policy explains how Your Name / Business Name ("we") collects and uses personal data on lawns.ahilyanagar.shop, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.

What we collect

From families: when you send an enquiry, your name, mobile number, optional email, event date, guest count and message. When you write a review, your name, mobile number (never shown publicly), rating and comment. When you use the contact form, the details you enter.

From venue owners: name, mobile number, email, venue details and photos, and for paid plans the UPI reference number and any payment screenshot you upload.

Automatically: your IP address with enquiries, reviews and messages (to stop spam), and counts of page visits and Call/WhatsApp taps per venue. These counts are not linked to you. We use one essential cookie to keep you logged in and protect forms. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

To pass your enquiry to the venue owner you chose, to publish venue listings and reviews, to process plan payments, to send account emails such as password resets, to prevent spam and fraud, and to answer your questions. We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.

Who receives it

Your enquiry goes only to the owner of the venue you contacted. We use service providers to run the site: our web host, our email provider, and for pages that show them, Google Fonts, OpenStreetMap (maps) and Cloudflare's script CDN. If you tap WhatsApp or Call, that happens in your own app. When online card payments are added, the payment gateway will process card and bank details; we will never see or store them. We disclose data to authorities only when required by law.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and contact messages: 24 months, then deleted. Reviews: while the venue is listed. Owner accounts: while the account is active, and payment records for 8 years as required for tax and accounting.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to service@ahilyanagar.shop. Owners can edit their details and venues from their dashboard at any time. We reply within 15 days.

Security

Passwords are stored only in hashed form, the site uses HTTPS, payment screenshots are kept in a private folder, and access to the admin area is restricted.
